I’m opening up about this topic because something happened in our country that brought this conversation back into the spotlight — a reminder of how deeply mental health affects so many of us. Everyone has their own take on this illness, but it’s heartbreaking to see how misunderstood it still is.

Some people treat it like a weakness, others dismiss it as “just overthinking,” while some believe faith alone should fix it. But mental health isn’t something you can just snap out of or pray away. It’s real, it’s painful, and it deserves the same understanding and care as any other illness.

Please, be gentle with yourself. Healing takes time. You don’t have to have everything figured out right now. Learn to love yourself even on the days you don’t feel strong — especially on those days. You’re still worthy of love, patience, and kindness, even when your mind tries to convince you otherwise.

Loving yourself isn’t selfish; it’s survival. It’s choosing to show up for yourself again and again, no matter how many times life knocks you down. You’re doing your best — and that’s enough.

@Raisa4555 Thank you so much for opening up and sharing this with me. It truly touches my heart, and I wish the world could see how strong you are. It breaks my heart that some people can be so dismissive, but please always remember that your feelings are valid, and you’re never alone. What you’re going through is real, and even if it seems simple to others, it takes incredible courage just to get through each day. I hope you can feel a little comfort knowing there are people who care, who want to understand, and who are trying to raise awareness. The world truly needs more kindness and empathy, especially around topics like this. Thank you again for trusting me with your thoughts—sending you endless love, warmth, and the gentlest hugs.

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to take a moment to check in and say — I hope you’re all doing okay. Really.

Life’s been moving so fast lately, and with everything that’s been happening, it’s reminded me how fragile and unpredictable life can be.

Please, take a moment for yourselves. Breathe. Rest. Hug the people you love a little tighter. And if things have felt heavy lately, I want you to know that you’re not alone. It’s okay to slow down. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to ask for help.

We don’t always know what others are going through, so let’s try to be kinder — to others, but also to ourselves.

Because here’s the truth: people talk like they know what it’s like to fight your own mind. They don’t. They think because it’s “in your head,” it’s not real — that you can just control it if you really wanted to. But they don’t know how dark the mind can get, how it can drag you to places you never wanted to go.

          Then come the words —
          “You’re not praying enough.”
          “You lost your faith.”
          “Why didn’t you tell someone?”

As if praying fixes the noise.
As if faith alone stops the pain.
As if opening up is easy when every time someone does, they’re told, “Don’t overthink,” or “Others have it worse.”

Some people stay quiet not because they don’t want help, but because they’re tired of being dismissed. Tired of hearing that it’s nothing — that it’s all in their head. Faith doesn’t vanish, but even faith can feel small when you’re drained, when you’ve been fighting for so long and no one seems to understand.

@love_always_wins_143 Ahh, that really makes me so happy to hear ❤️ I’m so glad my words could bring even a little comfort or light to your day. It means so much knowing they could help you feel a bit lighter. Thank you for sharing that with me—it really reminds me how important it is to keep caring for each other and letting people know they’re not alone. You matter, and I hope you always remember that

Hi!
I just finished your story and absolutely loved it. The scenes were so vivid, it felt like a movie playing in my head. The world you’ve created has so much energy and would look amazing as a comic!

I’m a commissioned artist and would love to collaborate if you’re ever interested. No pressure at all, just wanted to share the idea.
