Ah..ya know that feeling when you’re about to “fall” into a type of fandom or something? Well <eye roll> I’m about to and I can feel the energy and vibes of the fandom and the group idk if I can do this or take it again cause I end up falling in love and getting hurt </3 if that makes sense? What fandom are you thinking of joining?
I just fall in love with the characters and that world, and the storyline, and completely submerse myself in it. I wish real life was half as memorable, or half as magical as a story. In real life, I’m too scared to do everything, and so I do nothing. The “falling” part of falling in love is exactly why I’ve never fallen in love. Ironic, for someone who writes love stories.
I guess what I mean is, I understand on some level. It’s hard to be alone, but it’s harder to hurt. But hurting alone is worse for me. So I convince myself I’m not, by writing, and reading. Eventually, I figure, it’ll fall apart, it will. But it brings a temporary feeling of contentedness.
