Han Jisung is a nineteen-year-old prince of Japan who has never experienced infatuation, let alone love. He knew of this feeling only from books and stories, which is why, over time, he began to dream more and more of living out his own love story. Along with these desires came a certain dream - one that returned every night, so beautiful that Jisung had no desire to wake from it. In these dreams, however, he was not alone. He was accompanied by a man with a piercing gaze and a calm, warm presence - someone Jisung could not forget even after waking up. This made his longing for someone special grow ever stronger.
One day, his father - the King of Japan - announced to him and his mother that, to ensure their long-standing alliance with the Kingdom of Byeol remained strong, Jisung would marry Prince Lee Minho. This news filled him not only with pride but also with excitement, for perhaps his dream was just beginning to come true. Even though he and Minho have never met before, something in Jisung's heart tells him that this acquaintance will not be entirely unfamiliar.
