@jasjktae30 Heyy, it’s fine. I can explain everything to you. So, the whole thing is that I hope you know about Namseok attending Chris Brown’s concert. Chris Brown has been accused of physically abusing and harassing women before, and that’s why some of us are disappointed in BTS, not just Namseok, but the others as well, for listening to his songs and attending his concerts. A lot of us are disappointed because BTS have written and spoken about women’s experiences so many times, so seeing them listen to his music or attend his concert feels contradictory to us. We know they’re adults and it’s ultimately their choice, but that doesn’t mean people can’t feel disappointed or hold them accountable for it. That’s simply our opinion. Then there are other ARMYs who are defending them, which is fine in itself, but some are going as far as trying to justify or defend Chris Brown, and that’s where I think it crosses a line. If he did something wrong, then he did something wrong. At the same time, some people who are holding BTS accountable have started calling them rapists and using other horrible names, which is obviously not okay either. So honestly, I don’t even know what the hell is happening anymore . Both sides have taken things way too far, and this has become a much bigger issue than it needed to be. Mavis and Aster were simply expressing their disappointment and opinions about BTS, which triggered some ARMYs, and then people started abusing them and calling them names. That’s the whole situation, as far as I understand it. Personally, I think both sides are wrong in different ways. You can criticize BTS without throwing disgusting accusations at them, and you can defend BTS without trying to justify Chris Brown’s actions. Abusing people or throwing serious labels around shouldn’t be normalized just because you disagree with them... I hope I explained it properly... I’m genuinely terrible at explaining things sometimes, so sorry if this was confusing.
