A shout-out to @Romizabooks, who stays on top of writing events on Wattpad and has pointed me to some I've gotten involved in. Great work, love the effort, will keep watching!
Hello, this is Catherine Victoria Christie (@CroodsGirl) with the Featured opportunity. Thank you for trusting me to review your book. Other than what I pointed out in the form, is there anything in particular you would like me to focus on?
@CroodsGirl The story is told in journal entries by two people: Steve, an Earth native, and Tsu'na, an Eorzea native. E1 is Steve laying out the premise of the story. E6 is Tsu'na coming up to speed on Earth. E12 is meant to highlight the difference between their perspectives. For an idea of flow between the two of them I might suggest E21-25.
But, of course, as the writer, I think the whole thing is a package. :)
Grats on WTFandom, btw.
@CroodsGirl Mostly pacing and characterization. Though if you're not familiar with FFXIV, perhaps also accessibility. How much of it were you thinking of looking at? I could maybe suggest sections to give an idea of flow.
My Echoes of Home Wattpad entries are catching up to my Patreon entries, and my Patreon entries are catching up to me. In a few weeks my entries here may be in realtime. Though I'm looking to wrap up what I like to think of as Book One before too long. Can't be that hard... @Wordsmith-Rain can write entire books in two weeks, so I should be able to finish one in three months. Right?
If not, entries here may drop from two per week to one per week. But not for a while yet.
Participating in the FFXIV Write 2024 Challenge, which challenges fanficers to produce one piece per day based on daily prompts. I'm basing mine on Echoes of Home and collecting these in FFXIV Write 2024. Up to eleven so far. I have a buffer for EoH, so it shouldn't affect my publishing schedule.
