          Khaliifah Williams was an innocent man that was brutally murdered in what everyone is calling a state-sponsored lynching. Remember him in his poems, and his words, and his family. Khaliifah Williams could've been any of yall. Khaliifah *is* all of us.

          "Hi, my name is [NAME] and I am calling regarding Marcellus Williams. I urge Governor Parsons to stop the scheduled execution on September 24. Marcellus Williams is an innocent man and the state of Missouri has admitted this after reviewing the DNA evidence.
          
          Executing an innocent individual is not only a stain on morality but also an egregious wrong that cannot be undone."

          "Marcellus Williams has been on death for 23 years proclaiming his innocence for the murder of reporter Felicia Gayle in 1998. The crime scene had tons of forensic evidence: fingerprints, footprints, hair, and even DNA on the murder weapon. None of it matches Williams.
          
          The prosecution's entire case was based on incentivized witness testimony from two people with pending criminal charges who were offered leniency and reward money. Their testimony didn't provide any new information, and was inconsistent with their own prior statements.
          
          The prosecutor successfully removed 6 of 7 qualified black jurors with peremptory challenges, leaving a jury of 11 white people and a single black person. It's illegal to strike a potential juror because of race, but prosecutors get away with it. https://t.co/CWhEe5bDBK
