Happy Pride Month!
This is for every soul that grew up negotiating their own existence... am I too much, or not enough? For every beautiful person who learned to disguise their truth in safer versions of self just to get by and to feel safe. And for those still standing in between, gathering the kind of courage, but slowly learns how to breathe outside the cage.
If nobody has checked in on this lately, so I will... there is nothing wrong with the way your heart feels things. This is your life and story, and you don't have to rush through it. There's no checklist you have to complete before you're worthy of respect and space in this world even while everything is still uncertain or in progress. You are not a mistake... you are not alone.
Go be yourself even if it takes time. You are valid and enough. Not just for who you are but for everything you've overcome to get here. Love who you love and let it be what it is. The world is better with you in it.
