          "They're only detaining criminals." No. Families, children, and asylum seekers are being detained - people's whose only "offense" is crossing a border in desperation. Seeking refuge is NOT a crime. It's a human RIGHT.
          
          "Well, this is America." Yes, this is a country built on stolen land and shaped by generations of immigrants. We don't get to erase that history when it's inconvenient. This land has always held space for those searching for better, until now?
          
          Let's stop justifying harm.
          Let's start choosing humanity.
