I've been writing ever since I was about 12 or 13, though my first work was a highly indulgent, self-insert, love triangle Shaman King fanfic. I honestly can't remember where I even posted that story, but I'm happy to say that I've come a long way since then. 

I spent much of my teen years writing (mostly) fanfiction before I finally started to write my own original work.

My favorite time of day is the night when everything is still and quiet. And that's when I do most of my writing, too!
