[lucifer’s words rolled off her, but she caught the weight beneath the sarcasm, the thin edge of something frayed. ]
[the nymph gave a soft petulant /hmph/ before giving him a sharp glare] “oh, I’m sure the list would be /thrilling/,”[ she replied lightly, pushing myself up from where she'd been perched.] “do tell please, i'm curious.”

(something about his phrasing, his body language, he teased —- but there were cracks of sincerity laced between playful comments and mocking quips)

@eadimidium and what if i’m just simply taking a meaningless stroll? no purpose, no motives. what then? would that mean i wouldn’t be rushed off by an amateur hunter —- who by no means has made even the slightest efforts to /hunt/ me. call me sensitive for being a bit hurt by this, huntress. to not even try?
