27 years old now... and somehow I'm still fighting the same thing: writer's block.

I joined Wattpad back in 2014 with a head full of stories and an even bigger imagination. Back then, writing came naturally. Every romance, friendship, adventure, slow burn, and happy ending came from dreaming that one day those moments might happen to me. My stories were filled with hope, possibilities, and excitement for the future.

Then adulthood happened.

Life didn't follow the stories I imagined. I've experienced heartbreak, broken trust, depression, friendships that faded, relationships that ended, being cheated on, arguments, and disappointments. Those experiences changed me, and without realizing it, they changed the way I wrote.

Ironically, I did find love. It's healthy, comforting, and everything I truly needed-but it's different from the whirlwind romances my teenage self imagined. Real love isn't constant butterflies or dramatic confessions. Sometimes it's simply feeling at home with your person. As beautiful as that is, it also changed the way I see the romances I once loved to write.

That doesn't mean I've given up.

I still think about my characters and every unfinished story waiting quietly in my drafts. They've never truly left me-I just haven't found my way back to them yet.

I don't want to promise constant updates anymore. Instead, I hope this is the year I stop chasing perfection, stop worrying if my writing is "good enough," and simply write again.

If you've stayed with me since 2014-or even if you've only just found my page-thank you. Your patience and support mean more than you know.

Here's to finding my imagination again... not the one I had as a teenager, but a new one shaped by everything life has taught me.
