          I had hoped to have at least one more chapter of Champ McKay up by Christmas time but I seriously crashed in the last two weeks of the year.
          
          So, I took the time to rest and relax. Now I'm back and I'm working on several things at once, including a new chapter of Champ.
          
          I also have exciting news! I received a contract offer for my very first offer on January 1st. The novel, a fantasy, should be out later this year!
          
          Yippee!

Happy November, Everyone.
          
          It feels like forever since I've written anything new for Wattpad. Unfortunately, having contracts for books means they always have to come first.
          
          Right now I'm working on my Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero series (book 4). I will have the first draft completed by the end of November. Then the book will need to sit for a couple weeks. I think that couple weeks would be ideal for writing another chapter (or 2) of Champ McKay, Texas Space Ranger. What do you think?

          I wanted to share my news.
          
          On October 31st my novel, Scouts of the Apocalypse: Zombie Masters will be released. SotA:ZM is the third and final book in the Scouts of the Apocalypse trilogy.
          
          Some of you might have read Boyscouts of the Apocalypse, which is available here on Wattpad. That was (mostly) book 1 of the trilogy. I added about 30% new material to the printed version.

Hello my Friends,
          
          I thought I owed you all an update regarding my lack of a chapter.
          
          The good news: I finished my end of a new book I'm co-writing. That takes that particular load off my plate.
          
          The bad news: my mother is in the hospital waiting to go to an extended care facility and I'm the one who gets to take care of all the details. In case you are wondering, over the past few months those details have demanded almost a thousand hours of my time (that is outside of work and sleeping). To add to the problem, I've had to make numerous 3-hour drives up to where she lives to deal with things directly.
          
          It has been difficult and has left me little energy to write.
          
          But, I'm not giving up. I have started writing the next chapter. It's just taking longer than usual to finish.

Hello everyone,
          
          You will not doubt have noticed that my updating has slowed from weekly to bi-weekly. There is a good reason for this.
          
          I have two books that are now in the editing phase for publication. I've been working to get them ready and will be for the foreseeable future. Writing and editing are two very different disciplines and I have had to put more focus in editing than in writing.
          
          I will continue to put out new chapters of GalaxyBillies 2 until the book is done. That completion isn't very far away. Once it is done, I will have to decide what the next project will be and when it will start. I say that because I owe my one publisher the fourth book in my published "Mik Murdoch: Boy Superhero" series (available in print and ebook everywhere online).
          
          I hope you understand. It isn't that GalaxyBillies 2 isn't important. It is. I just have contractual obligations I have to fulfill first on the other books.

          As you have likely noticed by now, there wasn't a GB2 update last night. Unfortunately, last week got away from me (including a trip to the mountains with my Scouts for a winter camp) that left me without any fuel in the tank to write.
          
          I will see if I can get an update up before next weekend. I can't promise two updates this week, but I will try.

          Yes, after a two-week hiatus, I have a new chapter available. We are getting pretty close to the end now so I suspect you will see things really start to speed up.
          
          At least, I hope you will.
          
          Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I hope you really enjoy this chapter. It is slightly shorter than the ones preceding, but I did that for a reason. If you read right to the end, you will get a couple little tips from me. :)
