I hate alcohol so much it's not even funny, I've had my parents get wasted so much around me that any time they start drinking even a little bit I feel myself start to just shut down

how do you explain to someone what it feels like to babysit your siblings all night just for your mom to come home wasted, knowing damn well her five year old niece's birthday party's tomorrow

I came home from soccer and all I said was that I was exhausted and my mom's like oh well you still have to shower you fucking stink
          
          like no shit. I've been running for two and half hours straight. I actually get off my ass and do something instead of sitting around bitching. I was going to shower, the hot waters good for my muscles anyways, but there was no reason to say that whatsoever. especially because she knows I get self conscious about that (I have a lot of smell good body care bc of it so no one ever says that even after practice)
