To me, life is bittersweet. Its bitterness is witnessing utter cruelty and mindless hate in this world. Bitter still is knowing the pain I've personally caused others, the heartlessness of my own dark shadow, and my inability to undo either.

Sweet, however, is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Awesome sweetness is knowing the Father, and His grace and His truth. His word is like honey to my lips.

My journey through life has been bittersweet. Yet, I journey onward.
