FREE Blood Tied I book for only two more days on Amazon.com -- The Hammond family goes to Paris and Klea gets a strange pet. No strings attached to taking advantage of the freebie, but I believe you do have to have an Amazon account already.

Starting Nov. 11 (tomorrow) Blood Tied I is FREE on Amazon.com for a limited time only! I wish I could extend the eBook promotion to worldwide, but the Amazon bots don't allow it. If you live stateside, though, you have three days to grab yourself a free copy.

"I nodded. After the room was empty, I stretched one finger towards the fireplace and said a bad word. (Demons cast spells by swearing.) The word was somewhat slurred, but the log appeared as I had ordered and burst into flame all the same." BLOOD TIED IV is out.

Blood Tied IV is done! "They both got up and leaned forward, squinting to see into the depths of the stone. A small figure inside it darted forward to press its palms and face against the surface. Its tiny eyes glinted like hot coals as it turned from side to side, squishing its mouth against the opaque stone to leer at them. It looked like a tiny but malevolent child who had perched himself at a window to scare passers-by."

A last editing, a bit of jerking around with the technical stuff, and my first full length book of the Blood Tied Series will be out by midnight tonight (I said I was releasing it Oct . 30, so I am). My way of celebrating Halloween. I'm looking forward to starting on the next book, but I'm a little sad today: my kid read what I said on here last week and went into action. She put a lock on her sock drawer in advance (where she hides her Halloween candy).
