GREGOR MARKOV II    /    BANDIT
          	[   current alias:  jared clay,  ]   age: 18-23 (verse dependent),  alias: the bandit,  relatives:  king viktor markov (grandfather, deceased), king gregor markov (father, deceased), queen ilona markov (mother, deceased),  brion markov/geo-force (uncle), tara markov/terra (aunt), denise howard (aunt in law)
          	
          	basis pt. 1,          after the death of his parents, gregor was watched over by his brion & denise in law (along with the castle staff) in castle markov with brion serving as a regent until gregor is of age to become king. the king-to-be grew with a compassionate love of the kingdom, even befriending a few commoners outside of the palace. in the nights when gregor was supposed to be sleep and sound in the castle,  he’d often sneak out and meet with his two best friends who would then wander about the kingdom of markov, exploring and doing childish things. one of these nights, when gregor is seventeen— in the months preceding his coronation as king—  gregor & his friends start picking up on suspicious behavior lurking about the kingdom when spotting one of the guards from the palace conversing with an unknown man.  later,  gregor learns of a neo nazi invasion plan in which would be triggered by gregor’s murder at his coronation.    with the pressure for the long term safety of his kingdom, gregor secretly devised a counter plan in which he fakes his death  (making brion the official ruler)  to delay the invasion & goes undercover by becoming apart of the neo nazi party later revealed to him as the ‘the secret guard.’

pt. 3,  the psychology of gregor is changed drastically as he knows that his kingdom will inevitably be destroyed if the castle guard doesn’t do something soon.  but if he even returns to his kingdom and he’s exposed as a traitor,  that will also in turn throw markovia into chaos,  signaling for the secret guard to invade.  and it doesn’t help that everyone in markovia,  including his uncle,  believe gregor to be dead.

pt. 2,     as gregor was inching closer and closer to learning of the nazis’ plan of successfully invading markov. gregor is exposed by the castle guard— the one he’d seen a months ago when first discovering the initial invasion plan— and was almost put to death. but the castle guard was revealed to also be undercover as a double agent and saved gregor from being killed by proposing the idea of a secret exile plan where the secret nazi party would banish gregor, for if he were to ever return they would expose him as a traitor to markovia as he was in fact seen in uniform.
          	  
          	  gregor is forced to be secretly flown from markovia, and he ends up in gotham city, where it was the easiest to  ‘blend in’  without anyone knowing who he truly was. he takes up the alias of jared clay, pursuing a (cliche) role as a vigilante to try to support himself in this new lifestyle. he receives weakly mail of “proof” of himself “allying” with the secret nazi party as motivation to keep quiet & stay hidden from the world.  although the nazi party themselves (without informing the castle guard) sent people behind gregor to attempt to kill him. 
          	  
          	  gregor now balances the role of a dead king, a new identity, while also trying to support himself, while ALSO avoiding his own murder by running from undercover nazis. and if he ever sets foot in markovia, it’s death for him, his family, and quite possibly the of his kingdom falling into the wrong hands.
