After watching ep 8 of Yesterday:
          
          Kelvin being bipolar explains everything but excuses nothing.
          
          And i curse myself for not noticing the signs, because it was kinda obvious with how he turned a 180 when Vier left him (with right).
          
          And the sympathy-play is working bc he is my pookie again.
