I understand the problems of having multiple accounts.
I actually lost the password to one of mine, though I can still access it because my computer saved the password I don't remember. I may end up resetting the password sometime.
I have 2 Wattpad accounts --and I don't even know how many stories in various stages of unfinished.
I only have one finished and edited...and got detailed recommendations on how to improve it (not happening soon).
I have ....oh, 3 more fairly developed to one point or another.
I am trying to finish the story outline & character development arc(s) before writing (or rewriting) chapters.
I don't post any stories on this account. I do use it for some extended notes that I can use later on my writing account.
This is the account where I do most of my reading.
I liked The Surrogate, and am skimming back through it.
What does your writing process look like?
I sometimes start with a vivid/emotional scene and work forward or back from that.
If I get stuck, I may look at what would have led up to that point instead of beating my head against a wall trying to move forward. Sometimes that helps me clarify or fix what got me into the mess.
It keeps me engaged while my subconscious grinds away looking for a solution that does not require me to un-do something I wrote earlier. That can be necessary, but sometimes painting yourself into a corner forces you to get creative. Letting it simmer while I keep the story alive by working on a prequel or earlier stage of the story eventually gets something to click...or it can.
