Hi remember me from the book « Alison »?, what happens is David dies at the end. He dies of cancer 25years later after the first chapter. Which means they only had about 20years together cause she went for college for 4years. They had a daughter, and the epilogue is a letter Al wrote to Dai as what she didnt tell him when he was alive. The end is sad af... maybe you should read it... prepare tissues...
