So I have friends that judge me on the type of boys I like and make jokes like:

So friends that do that you may think that they are jerks but grow up its very clear that you don't want me to be happy so you have to deal with a very very very upset girl who is a friend so have fun

This happens to me a lot... you think you've got a good book going and then it goes off track and then BOOM! The story shall not pass because you have reached a dead end where you can't continue anywhere. This is what has happened to you, my apprentice. In (A Story of Friends) you may want to get back to the original plot line. But in the end it is up to you who decides what happens, so why should I have a say?
