Thinking about writing a Spn fic based on my experience with Siri talking me through an unfenced, raised graveyard at night.

Look, I don't expect you to forgive me right away for not updating for 6 months, but come on, talk to me!

What is the lie that your main character believes about himself/herself?

Don't take it personally if some people don't care for your OC. Some people hate Molly Hooper, the non-canonical female character in BBC's Sherlock made by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. I can't see why -- she's a brilliant OC -- but everyone will not appreciate what effort you have put into creating a new character. 

Writing for your audience:
          
          Write to ONE PERSON. Trying to appeal to every possible audience will spread you too thin and it will show. 

Vary your sentence lengths. Short sentences are fine, but can get boring after awhile. Additionally, start some of them with a word besides the subject so they won't get bored with the same openers every time.

I'm making myself either read or write everyday. It's the only way I can guarantee to keep my creative juices flowing.

I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED... My computer has been messed up for the past four months and I haven't had the tools I usually use to write. Someone fixed it so I'm back now. I have a relatively set schedule at work so I will be able to write in the afternoons and evenings. I just want to get this thing done so I don't have it looming over my head anymore.
          
          If you see me updating chapters that are already published, don't freak out, I'm probably just fixing spelling errors and rounding out my OC a little better. Thanks for being so patient with me and please share my story on Tumblr and Pinterest!!
