Getting lost in the mind of the protagonist is what I do. I feel what they feel, I sympathize with them, I grow more emphatic towards all the other characters as they deal with the MC. Of course it doesn't hurt that I feel  the antagonists as well. I sometimes get eccentric and write each story with purpose. Each story I grow up a little more and I hope that each story captivates and draws you in as it does me when I write.




I am an artist through and through, but nothing stands the test of time like a good story.
