I started writing Maddison in early 2021 as a healthy outlet to help me process my trauma from years of abuse.
It made me realise my love for writing and fanfic and Maddison took on a life of its own.
But, it's not fun for me anymore, at least not right now anyway.
This fandom has become beyond toxic and it’s now affecting my mental health.
I'm done.
Maddison is on hiatus until further notice.
I don't know when, or even if, I'll post anymore outside of some shorts and prompts/requests.
To the people who love Maddie and Chris as much as I do, thank you and I'm sorry.
I hope one day I’ll finish the 100+ chapters I’ve still got to write of their story.
@munstysmind either life gets too busy or people get too invested (the wrong way) and it is shit for the writer as well as the select few who adore these stories simply for their own reading pleasure. Not out of any desire to tip the apple cart one way or another. I'm so sorry that your Maddison vibe has dimmed on you for such an ugly reason and I truly do hope that one day you'll finish the story that I know I have loved from the beginning! Guess we know where each other is coming from more than others, cause I know how much you miss KJ. Believe me, I miss them too. But what's worse, is when the writer can't connect to their own characters anymore. Take care of yourself, do what needs to be done first and when all your ducks are in a neat, little row, come back to the story and characters you love. Ez

Firstly, thank you for 3k reads on Maddison, that’s crazy to me.
I just wanted to let everyone know that Maddison is officially on Hiatus for the next few months while I focus on some other stuff I’ve been wanting to write, mostly One Shots.
My muse is back and going crazy and unfortunately my ADHD makes it so I can only write one thing at once or everything gets jumbled up
I’m aiming to be back posting Maddison around October/November but that’s just a rough guesstimate.
I’ll let everyone know when I know.
I hope you enjoy the new stuff I’ve got in the works.

Hi! Just checking in to see how you’re doing
I’m doing well, thanks for checking in. Been crazy busy with life. Little to no time to write and when I do find the time my brain decides to go blank. Fingers crossed I’ll have some time over Easter.
