Hey there, so this has nothing to do with any of my stories so sorry if I got ye excited.

I just need a bit of advice. Advice on how to come out to my best friends and my parents. I’m at a bit of a crossroads at the moment on how I should start the conversation or if I should even tell them.

If any of you have been through that or know of anyway going through it let me know how it went? Kind of hoping they’re all positive so it’ll push me to do this soon.

Anyways, sorry for this unnecessary message but thank you for taking the time to read it.

It’s a case of having to rip the band aid off, unfortunately this will not be your only coming out story this happens on a daily basis. I am now 40 years old and still come out daily to new co workers bosses etc. It’s about living your true self and loving yourself for who you are, I came out to my parents and it wasn’t horrendous although I think my mum thought my uterus must have run away from my body. Her first comment was I will never get grandchildren, we now have an 8 year old. My advice to you is just tell them sit them down, do it over FaceTime whatever but just do it. I hope that nothing but love come out of it, but you can’t control that you just have to be you.
I am sending rainbows and glitter your way.

Dearest England Lionesses,

Words cannot express just how immensely proud you’ve made each and every person that has been following your World Cup journey.

You’ve done your nation proud. You’ve done your family proud. You’ve changed the lives of so many little girls and have inspired the next generations of lionesses in the making.

Each and every one of you 24 players apart of that squad are the reason thousands of little girls, and boys, are now believing in themselves and beginning the hard journey of becoming the best player they can become.

Steph Houghton and Lucy Bronze, you are an inspiration to so many. One penalty miss or defensive mistake isn’t going to define you and the type of player you are. You two are true leaders. You’ve both had the weight of the nation on your shoulders this entire tournament and didn’t even flinch. We are so proud to call you Lionesses.

I can’t imagine just how it must feel to be so close and just miss out but keep your heads held high. You’ve still got one more game to show just how special you guys really are. We’ll all be watching. We don’t give up on you. We won’t give up on you. You’re our Lionesses. LET’S DO THIS!!!
