Good gosh, where do I even begin?? 
          	
          	Hi all! I hope 2026 has been treating you kindly <3 Life has been pretty crazy since 2024.  I've basically packed up my entire life and moved countries twice, which as you can imagine hasn't left me with much time or energy for writing. That being said, I haven't given up on WTWH just yet and will be updating as soon as I have the next chapter ready.
          	
          	I've scrapped the original draft of chapter 8 and have started rewriting it. I can't promise when it'll be up, as I'm not yet sure where the chapter will go (I've plotted a good 75% of the book, but said plot changes as I write thanks to my persistent plantser ways) and my original plan no longer fits with what the story has become, so I'm discovering the story alongside you. I'm excited about the chapters to come though, and I am immensely grateful to anyone still sticking around and reading my work. 
          	
          	I'd also just like to add a general disclaimer here: I have never and will never use AI to write and/or create any artwork/covers for my work. I write and plan my books completely on my own. I self-edit and proofread my chapters. I make my covers and moodboards in canva using images and graphics that I hope are also made by an actual person. I do not support AI work and I encourage writers to stay true to themselves, their skills, their hard work, and their ideas without relying on a machine that was trained on the stolen work of other authors and artists. You are more than capable of learning how to share your ideas in a way that is honest and authentic, and I'll be rooting for you every step of the way should you choose to join us writers on this never-ending journey of bringing our worlds and characters to life on the page.

Hi there! It's been a while since my last update, I know :') I haven't gone on hiatus just yet though!
          
          I have 2 chapters written, they just need some heavy edits. I'll upload them as soon as I can <3
          
          I'm writing my finals at the moment so my time for writing has diminished quite a bit. That said, I'm doing my best to update as soon as possible <3

Chapter 7 and 8 are now up! Unfortunately there won't be any more updates for the next two weeks. I've got tests coming up and I have no more chapters pre-written and ready for posting :') 
          
          I'll be back at the end of March hopefully with a few chapters written and we'll be back to updating every Friday once again <3
          
          Until then, I'll post some character aesthetics and all that fun stuff :)
