"Love Can Fix what’s Broken" (summary)
Looking around I could see there was no way out. I was surrounded. This was it I was going to die. Do I fight or do I just submit, will it be less painful that way? Looking back at them theses weren’t just ordinary wolves. They were huge, about the same height as me. There were five one blocking each possible exit. Crouching with its teeth bore, growling. They all started to advance on me; my legs were shaking so hard it looked like I was having a seizer. There was a loud bark from behind me. I turned my head so fast in that direction I wouldn’t have been surprised if I got whiplash. There was the sound of a branch breaking and a leaf being crushed but looking into the shadows you could see nothing. Then slowly emerging from the shadows you could see another wolf, bigger than all the rest it looked like a horse. it looked at each wolf an nodded its head and one by one they stopped growling and slowly retreated sinking into the shadows, until it got to the last one it continued to growl. The big wolf barked so loudly it caused the other wolf to whimper slightly then run off into the forest. The animal looked at me its eyes turning to slits. A slow rumble emerging from its chest. I looked at it and it just stopped. Its eyes were the most beautiful brown so light they were almost gold. I stood there unmoving as though in a trance, I couldn’t look away. I finally came to as he took a stoop towards me; I jumped backward so fast that I fell onto the ground. It whimpered and lightly nudged me with its head. He backed away and whimpered again this time slightly bowing its head in my direction. And then it backed away slightly before barking and then running off into into the woods. I stood there flabbergasted. I slowly stood, in a daze i started to walk from the woods. That wolf had just saved me…. But it looked so human like, its expressions, as though I was an old friend he looked at me with such kindness….
