Hello, my name is Skyler. I mostly write contemporary gothic and contemporary fantasy/horror fiction. I may or may not post some poetry and fanfiction. Also, I can in no way promise to update regularly. (Sorry!!)

I'm a big fan of Supernatural, Sherlock, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and I've recently begun to watch the Vampire Diaries. I've recently become obsessed with the anime/manga Durarara!! and am seriously contemplating the merits of writing some fan fiction centered around my favorite characters. ( Based on my profile and background d pictures, you can probably guess who one of those favorites is. :). )I really want to read the original light novels.

I love the author Holly Black and I enjoy the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, which I've just started. My favorite book (at the moment) is The Coldest Girl in Cold Town by Holly Black. I also like Rick Riordan and all of his Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus books. I can't wait for his new book to come out in October!! (This one is based in Norse mythology). And I can't forget James Patterson or E. E. Knight either. There's so many others, but way to many to list.
