I’m working on Silk man. I wanna make it good asf so I’m tryna straighten out the plot. I unpublished chapter 1 so I can sort it but it’s coming sooon n I’m excited!!!

Going back to uni in a few days soooo silk is gonna b delayed slightly but hopefully updated very soon

after bare deliberation, I’ve put a ‘character aesthetics’ thingy on the ‘before we start’ part of silk. Apparently some people find it hard to picture characters so I kinda gave a guideline and a visual collage of what makes them, them.

Imma still keep that other idea tho that shi fiya. Maybe a different title. ‘Silk’ just suits my London vibe better.

I feel, being from London, there is such a lack of material from black people from London?? Unless I’m not looking hard enough. There’s hellla American black people, and barely any brits. Imma re-re-model my book I just published, flip the story line AGAIN and present a snippet of what black London is to me and what being black in London is like (in my experience).
