we are metaphors
          twisting in time.
          you are my words,
          and i am your lines.
          
          we are paragraphs
          blooming with prose.
          our hands never stop
          with an ending and close.
          
          we are two poets, 
          we say no goodbyes.
          but you ran out of words.
          and i ran out of rhymes.
