Feb is over, but my recos aren’t. Here's my Feb update:
          
          1. Where Our Whisper Sails from shi_nyyy_'s Ronosa Series
          
          I was trying to recover from a reading slump when I started this one, so it took me a bit of time to finish. But overall, it was a good read — slow-burn strangers to lovers, yearner x introvert, no complicated conflicts between the MCs, so it was a really light read. Apaka-gentle ng MCs, conflicts were not dragged, and the writing was good — no over-narration or dialogues. Slow-burn but not boring. (March update: been rereading few of the kilig chaps — they're comforting (⁠✿⁠ ⁠♡⁠‿⁠♡⁠)) 
          
          2. Whispers Between Lines from queennyelli's Between Lines Series
          
          I immediately added this one to my favorites list!!! So happy I discovered the author — the writing style was good, pacing was on point, plot build was maintained, and the characters are both lovable, huhuhu. I don’t know, but the MC dynamic is giving me Shiloh and Brent vibes (iykyk) — soft x yearner!!!! What I love about this was how the mystery behind the MCs’ history was maintained all throughout until the revelation. I mean, he was sketching him without even knowing that he is an actual person!!!!! The tension? God! Had a good cry sa POV ni Tris!!!
          
          3. From the Start from Jonaxx's Nuevo Series
          
          Gets ko na bakit isa sa top fave jboy si Nick — baliw na baliw!!!! This one is a light read with fast pacing and kilig lengs, hahahaha. Can’t say much about it, pero refreshing makabasa na ang mga MCs ay galing sa maliit na lugar lang. Damang-dama yung probinsya vibes, and it was well executed — chismisan sila araw-araw. 
          
          Kitakits na lang sa Amidst the Rain (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

DROPPING HERE ANOTHER ONE OF MY OG FAVES!!!
          
          The Consunji Series is one of the first series I really subaybay when I was in high school (nostalgic!). I reread it again last 2025 and I was honestly surprised that I still love it just as much. So lemme give you a good starting point for the series: ALL I ASK FROM XXAKANEXX
          
          Anw, this one is kinda short — less than 40 chapters! The writing style is direct, fast-paced, easy to digest and mature. Bawat chapter, maraming nangyayari, but it's written in a way na hindi ka mabobombard ng info.
          
          This is heavy and nakakagalit nang todo-todo. Binabasa ko to offline, pero napapa-online ako just to comment, hahahaha. Pinaiyak ako nito sa gigil, juskopo!
          
          Female lead is one of the most loved character sa buong series and I can't wait for you to love her too ;)

Unbelievable. Am I in a reading slump, or I just can't find something that interests me enough? Huhuhu.
          
          We’re already in the second week of Feb, pero wala pa akong natatapos na story — puro skimming lang nagagawa ko. This is not me!!!!!
          
          In reality, Feb for me has been a bit hectic (but not that hectic) — went to Baguio with my college friends. Huy! First legit trip ko to hahahaha, kaya nabusy ako kaka-add to cart. Plus, my work schedule is 4x11, tapos night shift pa, so I kinda need extra hours of sleep to recuperate. Then during my days off, tulog ulit huhuhuhu.
          
          ***thinking about what to recommend next ;*

Dami kong ongoing stories na binabasa, pero here's what I actually finished in the first month of 2026:
          
          1. Under the Roaring Thunder (BL) from Ineryss' Strawberries and Cigarettes Series  
          Hmmm… enemies to lovers done right. I enjoyed this so much! Light, warm, and fun (sobrang funny ni Tyler!).
          
          2. Between the Rainbow (BL) from Ineryss' Strawberries and Cigarettes Series  
          Brent (ML) is so lovable, and so is Shiloh. Medyo may feeling of bitin lang kasi walang scene yung hearing with Shiloh's perpetrator, Tyler could've roasted them more! I also loved how Solene's acceptance wasn't forced at the end, kasi in reality, it really does take time. Overall, it was a comforting kind of read!
          
          3. Over the Horizon (BL) from Ineryss' Strawberry and Cigarette Series  
          I just love two masculine gay men who are confident in their own sexuality!!!! Rawr. The angst is there and the chemistry is on top!
          
          4. Pursuing Our Freedom from alluringli's Senior High Series
          Realized na di na talaga ako pang-teen fiction, huhuhuhu. Slow burn to the point that it felt bland and yung pag-portray ng innocence ni Philo parang pilit. The writing style is good, never expected anything less from alluingli. 
          
          5. Lucifer, Let's Make a Deal from shelovesneko's Hades File Series
          Heavy in an unsettling way — also took me over a week to finish kasi nga shokot ako. It honestly confused my concept of love because of how dark it is. Ewan ko ba. Like, how can you lie to someone you love! But the writing style? Very, very good.
          
          6. Behind the Blue Skies (BL) from Ineryss' Strawberries and Cigarettes Series  
          Huhuhu, I need an after-story update!!!!! I love the SAC series — gentle and heart-wrenching at the same time. I think this was the heaviest so far among the installments, pero ewan ko ba, kahit heavy siya, ang gaan sa feeling basahin. Siguro mas nagra-radiate kasi yung love ng MCs.

          I want to say something about this, but I can’t say anything. My stomach hurts. I’m confused, blown away, somehow amazed and overwhelmed.
          
          Take note: I’m not even halfway through the story yet.
          
          Di ko ma-express yung nararamdaman ko — just woah, woah, woah! (intensity increasing~)
          
          I’ve read the Hades Series, but I haven’t recommended anything from it yet. I’m still trying to analyze how to present it coz it’s just too dark for me. Not your usual “obsessed,” “possessive,” or “morally grey” MC.

          Among the three installments, this one just makes me feel calm in a very unsettling way. It creeps into your skin and makes you scared of the dark — ewan ko kung ako lang hahaha.
          
          I already had a peek of the ending because, I just really can't sit still without knowing what to expect next HAHAHAHHA. EMSORRY! 
          
          One thing I really love is the concept of Hades Organization itself. Go and find out!!!!

I was trying to recover from the last three BL stories I read, then tiktok algo shoved me into the Heated Rivalry trend!!!!! HOW DO I RECOVER FROM THIS BL MADNESS????
