"Saving the Heart" my latest read written by MayEsdot surprised me. The first couple of chapters were boring but I decided to keep going & I'm glad I did. Instead of the typical cliche story line I was introduced to a new one. The story starts of in a Harvard college interview were the main female character Kennedy is being asked to tell the interviewer something personal & fresh about who she is. After some hesitation Kennedy decides to bare it all & starts telling her story, beginning with the moment she met a disheveled looking boy name Sam & how she brought love into his life. Sam is lonely, scared & extremely sick, but also strong, hardworking & smart as hell. Kennedy needs Sam to help her with her college essay, being dyslexic she is quite desperate & is willing to do anything for his assistance. After more story line that you'll have to read for yourself they get married, both agreeing it is strictly professional not realizing they both really need each other. Then there is lots of family drama, best friend drama & of course school drama. However as any good story goes tragedy strikes & their relationship is put to the test with an ending that brought tears to my eyes both of joy & sadness. This story is about Love, compassion, hope, friendship & family a perfect combination for any good book. With that said I am going to go cry like a baby, I really miss the character already!
