THANK YOU EVERYONE!!  I can’t believe we’re already close to 10k reads on my Maekar Targaryen story just a little over a week after publishing it. The reason I started writing it wasn’t just because of the love Maekar was receiving as a character. I actually had a very clear scene and set of characters in mind for an original story, but with all my university coursework, I knew I couldn’t fully develop it at that moment.
          	
          	While working on this fanfic, I’ve also been putting a lot of thought into the worldbuilding and origins of my own literary project. Alara’s character in the fanfic is actually inspired by a mix of two sisters who exist in that original story.
          	
          	I wanted to share this with you because I was wondering if you might be interested in reading a short version of the prologue or the first chapter, just to see whether the idea resonates with you.
