            [ rowan pauses for a moment, lips pressing into a thin line as she debates telling the truth of her weird situation. he didn’t seem like a threat, merlin thought so as well, but the subject seemed to bother him. ] my parents brought me a gift from an archeology dig— turns out it wasn’t a normal gift (…) i started getting these weird dreams of another life and merlin spoke to me, told me what i’d be getting into and asked if i wanted to have it to. [ although it didn’t feel like it, it sounded that simple. a curve of her lips follows a shrug. ] the rest is sorta history. 

oh,  that’s nice..  [  his shoulders are still tense as he rubs his hands down his jeans.  the topic was … touchy,  to say the least,  but he was curious.  ]  and how did that choice come by you  ?
