@mytswiftera trust me, once you will read the book, you will want to cry. as a die hard fan who read all of ricks books (the author), i would not watch the movies again, even if someone gave me anything (not even the change to be a demigod).
for example, the scene with poseidon and zeus did not happen, pershepones pearls dont exist, in the books the trio IS ACTUALLY 12 NOT 16, the main villian is ares in the book amd in the series its kronos, there is epic fight scene with ares at the end on the beach, annabeth and percy do not become a thing immediatly, grover is actually really shy and not a clown and is a great protector,hades helm is stolen, all of the greek gods wear day to day clothes, not togas (zeus a pinstriped suit, poseidon a fisherman one, etc) and many more.
i dont want to be mean, but i love the books and thr movies do them so much injustice. i really recomend the books, but if you cant find them or dont want to read them, the disney+ series is great. every wednesday, a new episode comes out. rn there are 3 eps, till medusa. the next obe will be with the lotus casino.
