When I read those lost mafia princess books where the daughter gets kidnapped as a child and abused by her kidnappers I always wondered why the writer chose that story line. I’ve read thousands of lost mafia princess books and the plot is always the same. I enjoy reading them but my thing is why the girl always gotta get abused. In most of the books I’ve read the daughter gets kidnapped as a baby or before the ages of 5 so why not treat the child right especially if they have no memories of their actual family. I just don’t get it by abusing the child you create an enemy especially since the daughter always ends up being a powerful assassin or mafia dom in the story. Idk am I tripping?
