Mary Swingler retired in 2000, after working 25 years in education. During that time, she developed a passion for writing children's stories. As a freelance writer, Mary works with numerous clients. She has extensive knowledge writing articles, advertising, reviews, and promotions for websites, magazines, and blogs. Mary has 14 years writing experience in the auto, health and beauty, real estate, travel, business and trade industries.

Her writing portfolio includes interviews, technical writing, children's fiction, one-act plays, and poetry, in a multitude of poetic styles. Her faith, her family, and her friends are her inspiration. Mary's writing reflects a personal credo. "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks; [and for me], the writer writes."

Mary's analytical and creative thinking promotes an exciting, imaginative style of writing that is 100% original, and her organizational, communication, research, and linguistic skills are exemplary.

She began losing her hearing 15 years ago. Mary became full deaf 4 years ago, at age 64. She refuses to be defined or limited by her deafness. Mary's circumstances give her the opportunity to strengthen her relationship with Jehovah and serve the deaf in her ministry.
Mary strives to honor and praise Jehovah, encourage and inspire others through her writing.
