I posted the new chapter of Double Tap a bit late today. Posting is my favorite part of the day, so I wanted to wait until I was home and could do it properly. 
          
          If you're following Ponder Elliot, newbie vampire slayer with OCD facing a cataclysmic vampire uprising alongside a reticent, formal dark warlock who doesn't pander to her OCD, I'm grateful. I'm in love with this story.
          
          It's like a pumpkin spice latte and depressive episode merged and became one. And then a hot, powerful warlock who rarely shows emotion but appreciates and supports the FMC comes along.

          A vampire hunter with OCD moves to a small town after receiving her calling and keeps her head down when it comes to her demeaning watcher, but a special contact at the research unit overseas realizes she might need some additional support--just in time to find himself scapegoated alongside her when a nest of evolved vampires is discovered in her sleepy jurisdiction.

          Ponder Elliot is going through the motions. She accepted her calling, is doing the self-sacrificial thing, and it's not adding up to happy. Her OCD returns and along with it her suicidal ideation, which hides in comedic one-liners and lays a cold blanket of dread over her life.
          
          This is her diary. It's giving the transcripts from Joan of Arc's trial with the Catholic Church. An almost-inditement. A sopping love story, if we're being honest, paralyzingly focused on the apathetic attention of poncy slayer support admin turned dark warlock commander Harry Archibald.

          Double Tap, my latest novel, is currently being published chapter by chapter once a day for the month of October in celebration of spooky time. 
          
          It's a mature paranormal romance novel about a newly called vampire slayer with OCD, Ponder Elliot, and a slayer support admin turned dark warlock commander, Harry Archibald. 
          
          The story follows Ponder and Harry as they attempt to save Riverton from an army of evolved vampires.
