I don't think I've genuinely acknowledged the limit for writing. Is anyone off putted by graphic descriptions, or self-deprecation? Do things require a trigger warning, or are raw emotions usually evident in poetry a warning in itself? And most importantly, is my poetry more than pure venting, or is it just a condensed piece of my thoughts without structure?
Everything's quite hectic rn. I hope any readers have their inference skills on point because any uploads will need a lot of thinking to understand; my articulation has dropped significantly recently !!
@naisou_ Poems don't need to be articulate or nuanced to communicate an idea. You don't need to apologize for telling your truth in your way. I liked your new piece and I think you should name them so that it's easy to find it. Your poems have a right to exist.
I wanted to know why you decided to not name all of your recent poems.
@novelistASH I understand what you mean about multiple meanings. I like to try and tackle the challenge of naming but they're not all winmers from me, that's for sure. Some poetry books will list a poem by quoting the first few words. You could try that if you don't want to list the poems by number. I don't think there's anything wrong with what how you've chosen to present it. Change is always at the heart of drama, so my writer brain wants to know what motivated that change.
@novelistASH I've actually realised that a lot of my recent works have multiple topics involved, and sometimes I cannot come up with a single summary for the title, as I feel like that would diminish the value of other things mentioned. However, I have also noticed how hard it is to navigate through the unnamed poems (oops).
