And the second idea could be a character of your choosing as I believe this scenario could fit anyone. 
          
          The reader and (your character of choice) are already in a relationship, (or they could just like one another and not be in a relationship yet) but the reader gets wrongfully accused of murdering (or betraying, or even doing something bad that affects everyone around them) and no one believes them so the (character of your choice) has to choose between if they believe them or not. (Or if the reader really did do something morally wrong or something of your choosing) They have to choose if they are on their side or not.

If you wanna start your book off with how they met (I'm doing dazai osamu rn) then how about they meet through a case. only the reader is a murder suspect (the reader can actually be the murder or just be wrongfully accused, it's your choice) but it's a big case that is important and could be a possible lead on their enemie, and he (and some other people of your choosing) are looking for her. And when they catch her they hold her in jail for awhile and as they question her over the days dazai and her begin to flirt over time and soon actually catch feelings. (Or he catches feelings and the reader is oblivious)
