I  lovled your book in the beginning shame and you know that but I just couldn't finish it. Like couldn't she go study and do something good with her life instead of getting pregnant and fighting with her second chance family. Let's change the narrative for us black woman in South Africa. We want to travel the world and have our name in textbooks not fall in love with a criminal/gangster. It would have been nice if she went to  university and studied and came back with a qualification.Then she travels Africa. Believe or not stories like that gets popular and they are also good.Books like "Eat Pray Love" and more.She would have came back after traveling and start an Outreach programs or NGOs to help girls that was like her before she got adopted.Then  she meets a good guy that her father will approve of.I just wish we can just flip the script for once and be black women in charge.

@ZesiphoRadebe I get what you are saying neh, fully futhi, but there are stories like that vele, so imagine kengoku if all stories are like that, what would be the reason to read something someone else has already written? Also it's a bit rude to want someone to write something ngendlela yakho, this unfortunately is also how life is, and not writing about it sadly doesn't mean it doesn't happen or it won't happen, just as written inspirational/motivational stories doesn't mean it will motivate everyone.

Am sorry .I hope you feeling well .I am so happy that Nandi is at least in better terms with her brother and  father. I feel the name Nandipha suits her because she is was given to them stress #Nandipha isiStress.You tell me she couldn't use protection. She just doesn't want to be a she always want to be an adult. Her perants was going to spoil her and love her.Now she is dating an old gangster and she is unmarried and pregnant.
