The writing of the book truly is more important than the story itself.
I swear I've read some books that have a very simple (and sometimes cliché) story, but the writing makes them the best books ever.
HOWEVER I've seen other books that have a great plot but then turn into bad books cause the writing makes them REALLY cringe, and i felt so sad cause some of them really had great potential, rip :'(((
I think that the writing is the most important thing in a book because it can completely change the way you see a book and I can't read books that aren't well written because I like them only if (for example) two paragraphs are dedicated to the description of ONE SINGLE EMOTION to make people understand its intensity and importance. Like- LET ME FEEL THE EMOTIONS DAMN.<( ಠ_ʖಠ )>
