okay, uh, a little vent i guess? i have a second fanfic account (no i wont be sharing it) on a different site and that's where i put my longer, more serious works and have been using this one mostly for practice and whatnot. i still do my best here, and i do enjoy fulfilling requests when i actually get around to it, but i won't deny i put much more time and energy and my heart and soul into my longer writing (by long I mean between 2k to 11k words). and i know i wrote my most recent and longest fic for myself, i know there wasn't any audience for my ship, but i still feel so sad that there has yet to be any response to it aside from one close friend admitting that they read it. in wattpad terms, there are no votes, there are no comments, just less than 10 viewers and none of them have said anything. now i just have to sit here and wonder if i wasted the past week i spent writing it and if i should even keep trying writing :(
          
          i'll be going back to working on requests here in the meantime since i usually am able to at least get a little bit of audience feedback and that's more motivating than what personally makes me happy at the moment

@El-Musica thank you for your kind words! i'm sorry i didn't get to this sooner but it meant a lot to me that you took the time to write this.
            i am sorry to admit i did end up taking the fic down because of the low engagement was so demotivating (i had been sending it to friends and trying to promote it and yet i hadn't gotten a single comment), so you won't be able to read it, and in all honesty, almost every other fic for that ship wasn't very good and some of them i would not wish for anyone else to read because my eyes kinda burned :/ 
            i will keep writing though, and it's great to know you like my works! i hopefully will get back in to writing soon, irl stuff has just kept me busy. good luck with your own stuff though! i would be happy to recommend some fics to you if you ever needed more reading material for your procrastination

@nameless_entity oh no! I think you should keep writing, personally, even if no one reads it. Which ship is it, just curious because I really like your works, I just procrastinate reading stories a lot. 
            I kinda want to read it now, because you write very well, if I do say so myself. 
            I'm not too good at encouraging people but... uh, keep doing what you like because eventually as time goes on, more and more people will read it and there will be some brave soul who will write the first comment.

why do people think holding hands while ice skating is a good idea or romantic? all of you will fall and the more people you have, the more likely it is that everyone else will fall like a domino effect and/or someone will get stepped on by a blade. don't do it. don't. it's one thing if an experienced skater is spotting you, it's another if you're both safety hazards to everyone around you 
          
          - sincerely someone who had to fall to avoid hurting people who fell in front of me since there was no time to stop and now i have a giant bruise on my leg and a bit cut on my arm from it and is tired

i really was hoping to get this done less than 2 weeks late but i really need to focus on exams so the auseng request will be delayed another week or two, my sincerest apologies. to anyone else with exams, good luck! your grades don't define you, but i understand they mean a lot to some people. remember to take care of yourself, even if you don't do a full job of it. just showering for five minutes is better than not at all, and so is the same for many other things. eat well, hydrate, rest and sleep, and don't forget that you matter so much as a person, not just a student. good luck, and i'm sure you will do amazing!

@El-Musica the new manga strip has been posted and the uk bros have made their appearance. since fanon scotland was kinda based off an old sketch of hima's of the three brothers' faces but no labels as to who was who, he was assumed to be the redhead but the redhead was northern ireland all along lol
