I don't read fairy tales with happy endings. I read dark and angst things to keep myself reminded of the reality. Of how cruel, dark and viscous this world is and can get. That life is nothing but a series of painful events with a few sprinkles of "supposedly" happy moments with a sad ending. c'est la vie pour moi.
