Apologies are not the only way to make the ends meet. There are many more ways to redeem the characters like through their actions, their words, anything works . But the essential thing is that there should be *something* to redeem the character/characters. If Ohm cheats on Nanon , then Nanon should have the right to slap him and detest him and Ohm should have the right to prove himself again. If Ohm had insulted Nanon just for the sake of insulting him and showing him his place in the past , then Nanon has the right to condemn him for it or not forgive him for it and Ohm should have the right to show his regret and to show that he has changed. 
          	
          	Most stories on this platform, in this fandom , lack the rationality , the equality, the balance. Whereas when the ffs are about PatPran , it is almost always a fair deal , because Pat and Pran are characters who have their own personalities which are universally known to the fandom and whichever maybe the plot or storyline of the story , their personalities always make sure that they are on par. On the other hand , Ohm and Nanon are just faces , just actors , and to make them a character in our story , they need a personality which is created by the author. It is the author's responsibility to make their personalities liable and stick to their personalities throughout the story.

@nanonswifey Also I am glad that you openly said your perspectives and thoughts which is so nice of you . But before you share this to other authors , I want you to be aware about few thing . Every writers and their characters , stories and thoughts are different . Every one have different level of creativity and they design the characters like they want and like that there are a lot of readers who enjoy such kind of perspectives too . For example some extreme level of toxicity people like that and some extreme level of sweetness some other people like that only . So yeah writers likes to show different ways of characters in a story . Your opinion may nit reach everyone in the same way of positivity I know you meant well and you wanted to make the authors realise more things and make their stories good.  But some authors may get offended by this and it may get into a misunderstandings . Like I said everyone's thoughts are different . So they may get demotivated . And I know your intentions are good but it's just some authors are so sensitive to this topic and there is comment section open in every stories you can comment your opinions there in a nice way . So yeah try to do that and you can get other pov's there .

One thing that makes the stories rational and interesting is the balance between the characters. If Ohm is a mafia , can't Nanon be a mafia too ? Why has he got to be the innocent poor little angelic guy ? Why can't Ohm play that role ? If one hurts the other , how can they get back together? Just because Time Heals Everything? Or that the Other's feelings don't matter ? If Ohm cheated on Nanon , how can he get back to him after he understood Nanon's worth just like nothing happened? Where is the redemption? The revenge ? The result of his infidelity ? How is this rational ? The hurt ?

If we are going to write a story , we are supposed to make the characters work with each other. Both the people in a relationship are each other's equal . A relationship is based on Love , Trust , Respect , Understanding and Equality. Not Equality in terms of the male-female rights , but equality in terms of their choices, their needs and their importance in the relationship. I am not saying that it always has to be lovely dovey or a rom com , but even in Enemies to Lovers , there should be a balance. If they hate each other, contempt should be from both sides . If they love each other , care and adoration should be from both sides too. If there is a power dynamic in the story like a CEO × a slave , the norms should be the same for a relationship. Nobody would be in a relationship with someone who has insulted them in the past or/and harrassed them . Similarly , if it is from boss/servant dynamics to something more , then first the previous things have to be settled. Apologies or redemptions should be made .
