Okay, this is super random, but I feel the need to put this out there.
Last night, I went to bed the calmest I've ever been since I was, like, little. Like, little, little. I felt like I was at a sleepover and it was at that part where you're all sleepy and you're about to go to bed but nobody really wants to just yet so you're all talking quietly in the dark with just a lantern or the muted tv. It felt like I was tucked in and read a bedtime story. Why?
I was part of an impromptu live stream hosted by Knitting Giant Beanies on YouTube.
Knitting Giant Beanies' channel is an extremely accepting place. The owner is one of those people who use pronouns- I'm not sure if they're gender fluid or what- but currently she uses they/them or she/her and goes by Judy (or j I think?) She gives updates on whether or not it changes as soon as it does. But yeah, no matter what you are, in terms of gender, sexuality, race, whatever, it doesn't matter. You will be welcome there.
She does live streams it seems once a week (or at least uploads archived streams once a week), but not necessarily scheduled. Her voice is so calming and Judy is so precious- it is so relaxing to just sit there and watch her play games like overwatch or sims it listen to her sing it whatever. It literally feels like a chill sleepover and it's great.
She also does voice acting. I found her through her Bill impersonations, which are really good. But her channel is full of all kinds of cool stuff.
Anyway, my point is, if you need to chill, try to catch one of her chill streams or watch one of the archives ones. It is SO relaxing to just listen to her. I like actually being a part of the stream, but you can do whatever you want.
Seriously, check out Knitting Giant Beanies. You won't regret it.
(Also, SENPAIIIIII NOTICED MEEEEEE SHE NOTICED ME IN THE STREAM YASS)
