                             I haven't heard from Riley in weeks but Kenny has been calling me non stop. My first day in this high school was alright, since this town is not where the rich and famous lives, our school is actually just like the one I was in. You got you're popular and pretty,( the ones that think they own cause their parents have money) don't pay much attention to those.           Chapter Twenty:
          
          Tommy falls to the ground, holding his stomach where a bullet hit. I look to the hunter that fired the weapon. He raises it again but doesn't get to shoot it as Dustin takes him down.
          
          Tommy shifts back into his human form, laying naked on the ground. I shift back, not even caring as I lean down beside him.
          
          I hear the sounds of people fighting all around me but none of that matters now. The only thing I'm focusing on is Tommy.
          
          He rips the bullet out of his stomach and the wound heals instantly. I frown, knowing exactly what that meant. He was shot with one of the special bullets.
          
          "Tommy." I say sadly, no hope left in me.
          
          "I feel fine." He says carelessly. Amy rushes over with a jacket, probably belonging to one of the dead hunters. She drapes it over Tommy's naked body.
          
          "It's one of those bullets Tommy. The ones that make you suffer for hours." I say, tears flowing down my cheeks.
          
          Amy throws a jacket around me too. I don't even thank her, knowing that manners aren't important right now.

          It's finally Friday, the day of the barbecue. Kristen and I haven't been talking very much, and I'm really worried. I feel like she's already moving on, and I can't bear to lose her. She's practically my everything. Kristen thinks I'm moving on too. I sure as hell am not. She thinks I like Holly. Hell no. She's a slut. Never in my life would I hook up with her. But, She's my partner so I can't help talking to her. I wrapped a towel around my waist. I can't wait to see Kristen tonight and talk to her. Brendan asked me to come early to help in him set up. I'm not going to talk to Kristen until later tonight. I quickly dried my messy brown hair, and change into some khaki cargo shorts and a gray and white plaid shirt from American Eagle. As I slipped on my aviator shades I grabbed my keys and a little something I picked out for Kristen(corny I know) and head to Brendan and Kristen's. I opened the door without even knocking and walked in. I walked into the living room and my heart stopped. Kristen sat on the couch, mindlessly skimming through channels.
