I know what I said the other day but nizoyeka k’dala uk’dlala abafana men’hambe nikholwa mina. This time I can definitely confirm that this for research purposes, and has gone past satiating my curiosity .
1) Do you guys tire easily of the normal tropes or do you actually like re-reading the same central
idea in different books. I would love to give an example but I can’t without giving my idea away, lol. Personally, I love the classic, “overdone” boy-meets-girl stories would hate to write something you guys are tired of.
1.2) What plot lines ARE you tired of and what plot lines would you like to see more of? Once again ngicela ukuy’shutheka ngisheshe ngicele ukuthi sibeke phansi the boy-rescues-girl-from-poverty or girl in a subservient position falling in love with someone who has a higher rank than her (think helpers/assistants etc.). Any thing else is a definite yes for me! I’m a SUCKER for ‘couple breaks up and man fights to restore the relationship’. What a classic man!
Ngicela nivuke bandla ning’phendule. Kwamina ang’salali naseb’suku ngicabangela nina amabhuku.
Thanks in advance❤️!
@natasha_zulu ey bhala sisi uhlanganise ubambe nje, vele umuhle kakhulu lapho izinto zakho lezi
1) I definitely LOVEEEE re-reading a similar central, especially the boy-meets-girl stories. They never get old to me.
2) I would love to see more equally distributed power, power-couples (I hope that makes sense). Where they both have power but in their own right, individually.
1. I like the normal tropes, honestly but there has to be something different in every story. Boy loves girls yes but let girl be married or something and boy is her destined husband. Something unexpected but fun!
1.2 ey bandla. S for Ngiyabonga.

Yah san’bona. Ngiyaphila, ang’nendaba ukuthi ninjani nina. Nginombuza la.
When you guys read romance, do you enjoy the well-off Male Main Character trope, Female Main Character notwithstanding (I’m a feminist so I would NEVER write about a man saving/rescuing a woman from poverty. Please, hey) or do you prefer a male character with more realistic/humble lifestyle. And just to be clear, when I say well-off, I’m not talking about the absurdly rich MMCs with private jets, sprawling, and chauffeurs.
Personally, I quite enjoy a book with a financially comfortable MMC because it allows for proper proper romantic gestures (not to say the other end of the wealth spectrum does not deliver).
Also, books are supposed to be an escape from reality so why would I want to read about people who live a life that mirrors my own?
Enye into ke futhi, this question is posed purely to feed my curiosity and NOT for research purposes. I am NOT starting another book to replace Wrecked, lol.
Lastly, for every person that asks me for an update, that’s an additional day added to the wait. Thanks in advance ❤️.
@natasha_zulu realistic, enough to delude my mind bakithi ukuthi abafana bayama hotdog. Okunye ke why an additional day?
I love the realistic well off MMC and a FMC that can match that energy, it makes the story so fun because we’re not banking on pandering love because of the imbalance
MaZulu sisi, basaphila oMinisi kodwa?
Taaaaashhh, have you forgotten about us oe? :((
Oh my word girl you're such an amazing writer. The manner in which you write your male protagonists has to be my favorite thing about your writing. Love Mnisi and Qophelo dzown! Your writing is so fun and witty. As a Sepedi speaking hunn I've gotten over having to read isiZulu slowing down the pace at which I read but argh it's all so worth and I love it. Keep up the good work ❤️
I’m cheesing so hard right now, omg! Thank you so much, love. You have no idea how much that means to me ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Kanti uzos'bona ngoJan ngempela yini mbhemu?:-(
Oh, babe. Eyiiiiii
I feel like sicishile ispark sami and so I’m trying to study my earlier work, and read more because the drafts I have at the moment are SOOOO flat.
I promise you guys I’m on Wattpad every 10 minutes trying to plot and scheme but kuzolunga soon soon. Ngeke uphele lo nyaka without a lengthy update from me❤️!
Umembeso fully and the preparations please
For “WRECKED” readers:
Hi everything!!
Firstly, thank you so much for all the congratulatory messages. Truly appreciate it from all the stars I couldn’t have otherwise done it without❤️!
I know I have BEEN promising an update and I actually have been writing but ngilokhu ngiyabamba ngiyayeka. This is a partial-democracy so sondela, let me make you part of my writing process.
Umbuzo wami ukuthi do you guys want to see a) umembeso fully with the preparations, b) a condensed version without the preps, or c) skip it entirely and move to a chapter that actually furthers the plot. For further context, umembeso would be more of a filler event that does not add to or take away from the general storyline.
Your feedback would be HIGHLY helpful and make those updates you’re clamouring for arrive all the more sooner. Thank you in advance❤️!
