yes I’m very annoying and should probably GO TO SLEEP but I need to know. what do you think is “too many chapters”, what’s “not enough chapters” and what’s the average for a book? (including the prologue and epilogue)

I’m in a crisis I’ve been trying to write a convincing plot for one of the books of a series I’m writing and NONE of the story ideas convince me. I’m gonna literally delete my existence 

is it normal to have a chapter have 4500 words and then have the next one have around 3500 or is the different too drastic? i’m concerned ...
