I am an aspiring fantasy author. I've been telling myself for years that I would eventually be a full time writer, and yet I made no real steps toward that goal. I am just here now to make those first steps. 

This December I will be graduating from Arizona State University with my bachelor's in technical communication, and while I have learned a lot about writing, I have learned very little about creative writing. 

Which is why in spring of 2017 I am starting my creative writing coursework at Rio Salado! 

The bills are getting paid by my real estate career but I am determined to better my writing so that I can one day make enough money to support my family on just that. Because my career and schooling takes up so much of my time, I start my day at 4 AM every day. That is when my brain is freshest (well, it is after some coffee) and so that is when I work on my writing.
