@rxdiantshadows ⠀⠀ i’ve heard stories of people with unknown abilities that cannot really be explained. i just don’t believe that i have any.    [not even attempting to manifest things had given her anything, so she had simply given up. she found comfort in the animals who enjoyed her fruits and vegetables, they were enough for her.]    do you have any.. ‘magic,’ as you put it?

* well, she hated to be the bearer of bad news, but there was going to be no animals coming to visit this time around. her very presence was enough to scare them off. unlike humans, where her magic had quite the opposite effect. the doppelganger moved to take a seat on the blanket, avoiding the set up * You'd be amazed at how commonplace 'magic' can be. It's not all witchy woo that your ridiculous tv shows portray. Sometimes it's something very simple.

@rxdiantshadows ⠀⠀ [this was soo-jin’s time to let out a soft laugh, shaking her head as she pulled out three bottles of water with some bowls and plates.]    no, i don’t have magic of any kind, nor do i ever really expect anyone to join me. i like to feed the animals whenever they come, which is usually around this time. they’re sweet animals, but only if you’re patient with them..    [she opened up a fruit container and neatly placed a few cantaloupes on two plates each.]

@rxdiantshadows ⠀⠀⠀ we’ve lived here since we were children, seen everything they’ve ever done. unfortunately, i’m almost thirty and she’s still dragging me out here like there’s going to be something new. there isn’t— same themes, just spread out every few years like it’s new.

Too many people for you? Everyone has their limits. I would have been more inclined to say you were bored from it all, as if you had seen it all before.

@rxdiantshadows ⠀⠀⠀ it isn’t the worst thing i’ve been to, but i don’t normally attend these things willingly. i’d much rather be at home, in far more comfortable clothing than this, with a warm cup of tea to sip on.

            “ i harbor no hatred in my heart for things i do not quite understand  ,  such an emotion stuns knowledge that we seek .  i’d rather have the betterment of all than to stop it .  ” felix wasn’t a good man , far from him .  but even he knew things such as fear of hatred steamed from not understanding something in most cases , the german would rather be seen as favorable rather than be seen as a later enemy .  “ do hope i can help .  however..  my social skills are rather lacking  ,  but perhaps my skills can do the talking instead .  ”

@roguestech ⠀⠀ ╱ ⠀⠀ “a lot of the human’s knowledge about mutants is vague, but that stems from fear or blind hatred. you appear to have the decency to want to learn.” the words are spoken with a brief moment of hostility, but it isn’t intentional. despite her efforts to change, part of her still hates the things people have done against mutants.

            felix could understand the meaning behind it , morals were a tricky thing he knew that well enough .  even now the blood on his hands still haunted him despite his avid call for pacifism .  “ nein .  no need  ,  i know some company can be quite..  unwelcoming .  ” god only knew what kinds of people willingly walked into places like these , only for one thing he could imagine .  “ didn’t think i’d get so lucky .  and i have associates who frequent these kinds of places .  about time i did .  ”

             ⠀ ⠀ emma stands up in one fluid motion, her straight blonde hair that once laid on her shoulder almost bounced to rest against her back, and a slight smirk crosses her lips.  “forgive me, but not all who attend here respect the boundaries my girls have. that’s why i like to enforce it when i see new guests. those who go against those boundaries, especially after being told, never return to this club.”
             ⠀ ⠀ her reasoning is sound, although the intense gaze implies there’s more to her words than she’s really letting on. she walks past him and towards the bar, rather fancying a drink. “you did not think to meet the owner? well then, i’m curious as to what you’ve been told about the hellfire club.”
